I am excited to be collaborating with T. Alford Jr., Design Thinking and Mindfulness Practitioner/Facilitator, and Andrew IInicki, Director of the University of Richmond’s Innovation Studio (Weinstein Hall 106), to bring a two-day immersive foundation training and certification in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) Method to the Richmond, VA/Chesterfield, VA area.
Brick Magic® will be offering two LSP Training and Certification days (March 6–7, 2026, and May 8–9, 2026) at the University of Richmond. Ready to turn bricks into breakthroughs? Join one of Brick Magic®’s immersive LSP training and certification weekends and learn to effectively and efficiently facilitate the LSP methodology that transforms teams, organizations, meetings, psychotherapy sessions, coaching sessions, classrooms, and careers. This hands-on learning experience accommodates 6 to 12 participants interested in learning the LSP method and its application across varying disciplines.
All participants will have access to a pre-recorded session reviewing the history, theories, and neuroscience behind the LSP method. The pre-recorded session will also demonstrate the application of LSP Skills Building and LSP Individual Models. Participants will receive a Brick Magic® LSP Facilitator Guide and a copy of Michael Ferne’s LSP Method e-book.
Why LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®?
Rooted in Innovation – Co-created in the late 1990s by LEGO® Group with business consultants to help executives think with their hands and see their strategy in 3D.
Backed by Neuroscience – 70% of our brain’s sensory neurons connect to our hands. Building LSP models activates both hemispheres, boosts dopamine, and embeds ideas in long-term memory so insights stick.
Powered by Proven Technique (Core Process) – Question/Challenge → Build → Share → Reflect/Capture. You’ll learn the four core applications (Individual Models, Shared Models, Landscape, and Systems/Scenario Building), ensuring every voice is heard and every problem is seen from different perspectives.
