I am excited to be collaborating with Andrew IInicki, Director of the University of Richmond’s Innovation Studio (Weinstein Hall 106), to bring a two-day immersive foundation training and certification in the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® (LSP) Method to the Richmond, VA/Chesterfield, VA area.
Turn Bricks Into Breakthroughs.
Experience an immersive, hands-on certification designed to prepare you to confidently and intentionally facilitate the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology across professional settings.
Brick Magic® certification experiences are intentionally limited to 3–12 participants, creating a highly interactive learning environment where participants do more than learn about the method, they build, practice, facilitate, reflect, receive feedback, and develop the skills necessary to design meaningful LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® experiences of their own.
The methodology can be applied across a range of professional disciplines, including organizational consulting and team development, coaching, education, clinical practice, leadership development, strategic planning, and facilitated learning.
Before the Live Training: Build Your Foundation
Participants will receive access to a recorded foundational learning session introducing the history, theoretical foundations, and neuroscience associated with the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method.
Completing this foundational learning before the live certification allows our in-person training time to focus heavily on application, facilitation practice, feedback, and skill development.
During the Certification: Learn the Method by Doing the Method
Methodology & Foundations
Participants will explore:
The Core LSP Process
Participants will learn to facilitate the complete four-step process:
Challenge → Build → Share → Reflect
Training will emphasize not only how to complete each step, but how the facilitator’s language, questions, pacing, and presence influence the quality of the experience.
Core LSP Applications
Participants will receive guided instruction and hands-on practice using the core applications included in the Brick Magic® methodology curriculum.
Facilitation Skills
Participants will develop practical skills for designing effective build challenges, asking purposeful follow-up and reflection questions, adapting sessions without compromising methodological integrity, and more.
From Method to Practice
Certification participants will learn how to move from an interesting LEGO® activity to an intentionally designed LSP experience with a clearly defined purpose, process, and outcome.
Participants will also consider ethical application, professional scope of practice, documentation, and appropriate adaptation of the methodology within their own disciplines.
Practical Tools You Can Use After Training
Each participant will receive resources designed to support immediate application, including:
Certification Outcomes
By the conclusion of the Brick Magic® LSP Methods Training & Facilitator Certification, participants will be prepared to:
Build. Share. Reflect. Discover.
Brick Magic® certification is designed not simply to teach participants how to build with bricks, but to develop facilitators who can use the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® methodology to help people think differently, communicate more deeply, make the invisible visible, and discover possibilities that conversation alone may not reveal.
